Under the same ownership since 1976, Pak-Sher expanded from its original 18,000 sq. ft. facility to over 125,000 sq. ft. under one roof. Pak- Sher converts polyethylene “pellets” and a little ink into printed, finished bags. Pak-Sher has increased not only its capacity but also the breadth of its capabilities by adding some of the most recent equipment available in the bag converting industry. Its latest addition is a state-of-the-art gearless, flexographic press that prints both process and traditional line copy graphics. Since its inception as a “general purpose” plastic bag manufacturer, Pak-Sher has evolved into an industry specialist focused on the needs and requirements of the foodservice industry. Pak-Sher has maintained American Institute of Baking (AIB) Certification for Packaging Manufacturers for over ten years with a Superior Rating in each of the last 11 years. With years of experience and expertise, Pak-Sher guarantees that its packaging meets the foodservice industry’s requirements for sanitation, inventory control and traceability. Pak-Sher has earned the reputation as an innovator and problem solver. Pak-Sher developed its plastic pop-up Quicksheets® line as an alternative to paper sheets used in service delis, eliminating customers’ complaints of “soggy” paper sticking to their sliced meats. More recently, a Pak-Sher Product Development Engineer designed an easy on-off food handling Sher-Mitt® to minimize potential cross-contamination at a national casual dining chain. Pak-Sher’s latest innovation was the first process printed, SinewaveTM carryout bag used by a national restaurant chain. Today Pak-Sher offers an extensive line of plastic packaging products used by leading grocery chains and restaurants across the country. In addition, its product development team welcomes the opportunity to help address your specific packaging needs. Pak-Sher provides its customers with quality and service at a competitive price.
